Rag & Bone

It has been ten years since the iconic Hollywood actor Winona Ryder starred in a fashion campaign. Known for her diverse, yet often dark roles in films spanning almost three decades, in this latest campaign for Rag & Bone we see her lighter side as she is joined by A list actor Michael Pitt to promote their A/W 2014 collection.

Shot by British photographer Glen Luchford, whose previous work includes campaigns for Calvin Klein and Yves Saint Laurent, as well as being one of the first photographers to work with Kate Moss. The gritty black and white images show Ryder and Pitt in a series of scenarios around Coney Island in New York, creating an edgy 70’s style campaign fitting to the popular New York-centric brand.

‘Both actors are unconventional in their own right and indefinably compelling, which really appeals to us.’ Marcus Wainwright, Managing Partner at Rag & Bone.

Short films starring both actors individually were also created to support the campaign and can be seen here.

JACK really enjoyed seeing this campaign take shape across the London streets, by using carefully chosen street level and elevated billboard sites to ensure maximum exposure.  The campaign was well received by the public and client alike.

We look forward to seeing what Rag & Bone’s S/S15 campaign will have to offer.
