Love is Strange
Valentine’s Day might have passed, but we are definitely still feeling the love thanks to the latest heartwarming release from Sundance Film Festival favourite, Ira Sachs. Love is Strange tells the story of Ben (John Lithgow) and George (Alfred Molina) who find themselves at the mercy of their friends and family after they finally tie the knot and subsequently George loses his job, leaving the couple temporarily homeless.
Jack worked with Target Media to spread the love with posters across Brighton and Manchester. Having originally opened in a limited number of cinemas in the US the film has rapidly expanded across the world after receiving a boatload of critical praise, and quite rightly too.
‘Lithgow’s performance in this film will make you cry and remind you that while kindness has a cost, there comes a time in life when it’s all there is.’
‘Truth springs from the title and trickles down into every pore of “Love Is Strange,” an uncompromising yet accessible slice-of-life expression from Ira Sachs.’
Peter Debruge, Chief International Film Critic, Variety Magazine.
