This is beautiful …
We love it when a plan comes together beautifully – especially one that involves the street, art and history. Which is why we can’t get enough of this striking installation subsidised by City Centre Posters in the heart of Edinburgh’s Leith Shore district.
Working alongside Edinburgh Council, Leith Late and talented artist Russel Dempster, they have transformed a derelict shop into this compelling mural paying homage to pop art pioneer Eduardo Paolozzi (1924-2005), born and raised in the local area.
The piece provides a fascinating and thought provoking visual enhancement to the area and has received great feedback from the community – but don’t take our word for it – read the recent review over on The Edinburgh Spotlight here.
