When Talon approached Jack, looking for help to launch the Converse Made By You, brand campaign, we couldn’t be happier. The backbone of their latest creative concept, was all about self-expression and creativity – quirks that form part of Jack’s DNA.
To celebrate the 98-year-old Chuck Taylor All Star line, Converse scoured the globe to collect beloved and distinctly personal Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers to be used as part of the creative for the campaign. Each Chuck Taylor All Star tells a deeply personal story of the transformation from a white, black, red or navy sneaker into a remarkable piece of art. The campaign included more than 200 portraits of worn and customized Chucks from around the world and all walks of life, including some from celeb fans like singer Patti Smith and artist Andy Warhol.
We helped to spread the word on the streets of London with our hand picked billboards, targeting areas where our creative and diverse target market would be socialising, including; Old Street, Broadway Market, Portobello Road, Commercial Street, Brixton Academy, Leonard Street and Camden Town Station.
This campaign has definitely reinforced our love for Chuck Taylors, and we’re sure it’s had the same effect on others around the globe.
