Popin’ Pete’s Pop Shop returns

The team over at Diabolical are proud to support the return of Scanners Inc‘s Popin’ Pete’s Pop Shop, the pop-up festival of hip-hop culture featuring the world famous Popin’ Pete returns to London for a second year, building on the success of the 2013 pop-up shop at Box Park.

Taking over the 3000 square foot gallery in a new location for 2014 at Londonewcastle Project Space, this years event will bring together some of the top British hip-hop artists including DJ Biznizz; who’s been spinning since the 80’s, poppers Dickson Mbi, Vicky ‘Skytilz’ Mantey and of course, Popin’ Pete himself, as well as the entire space undergoing a popin’ transformation thanks to artwork by London’s Mr Dane.

Special events include a Youth Takeover programme, which aims to introduce young people to dance and popping and freestyle workshops.

Popin’ Pete said ‘I am very excited about this years Popin’ Pete Pop Shop, I love teaching the youth and giving back to the community and I know this year is going to be even better than last year.’
